| Regional Action Forums
Facilitated by SARI/Equity, the Forums are regional platforms of like-minded
individuals from all walks of life that discuss common concerns in the region
and initiate policy change through action at the regional and national levels.
They come from civil society, academia, and are experts or government
representatives. Through their extended "arms" - National Core Groups in four
SARI/Equity countries (Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka) - they take
forward their initiatives.
The Regional Action Forums address three main areas:
| • |
Improving the Implementation of Laws Protecting Women and Children
